Home Remedy for Removing Skin Tags
Skin tags are an outgrowth of epidermal and dermal fibrovascular tissue, also called
acrochordons or soft warts. They are also described as a small soft pendulous growth on the skin. Skin tags are usually skin-colored or sometimes darker. Other types of skin growths include moles, lumps of fatty material called lipomas, and red or purple discolorations called angiomas.

As you can see from these pictures of skin tags, they are small growths of tissue on the skin's surface. Acrochordons are usually benign and painless and do not grow or change. They can be found most anywhere on the body but are usually located on the neck, armpits, trunk, and body folds. The growths may be surgically removed by freezing (cryotherapy), or electrically burned off (cautery), or by some home remedies.
